Race Results 12/15/2011

First, I want to thank everyone for making a very successful night of racing. It was tough but we did manage to get in both races before 10:30 running 3 min. heats, Great job to everyone.

Even with the extended heat times the racing was still close with ties over a total of 21 positions between both races. Highlights of the night, Joe got his first, and second, KRP heat wins tonight in the Group 5 race, as well as Bryan with his first in the Can-Am race and backing it up with another win in the Group 5 race.
Scott and JJ had 5 heat wins each. Sam Jr., Tim and Frank had 3 heats each, Dean, Joe and Bryan 2 wins each and Jonathan, Sean and Sam Sr. finished up with 1 heat win each.

Sorry for the delay guys, been a little busy for the last week, but after a short delay... the results are up.
Most heat wins for the night goes to JJ at 5, Sam Jr. at 4 wins, Sam Sr., Scott, Dean and Dave at 3 a piece, Tim and Clem had 2 and Chip and Sean one win each.
Some very close racing in the middle of the pack caused lots of ties on the track.

Were back at KRP for 12/15... that's this week, with Stock Carrera Can-Am and Modified Fly Racing Capri/M1. Due to the amount of racers, 14+, we have been seeing, racing will start promptly at 7:30. If you are late, we will add you in to the rotation at the end if we can.

Thanks to all drivers that participated in the evening's festivities.
This week we raced Stock Trans-Am and LMP motor limited class. The feild was tight with a 3 way tie fore second place in the Trans-Am and and the top 7 within 3 laps, including a 4 way tie for 4th palce, in the LMP class.

KRP Summer IROC Showdown

KRP IROC classes ready for their last summer race

On Thursday September 8th Kozo Raceway Park will host the final race of the summer IROC series.

Doors will open at 6:00 and racing will begin at 7:30.

The docket for the evening will be 2 IROC classes, determined by vote, and also a GT race.

The Fall series schedule will be determined with S & S Speedway and posted at a later date.

INDY car IROCs at KRP

The turnout of racers was poor once again this past Thursday night. Dean, Frank, JJ and Scott battled it out with the IROC cars Crash 'n Burn style. All five classes of KRP IROCs were used in the evenings events. Each driver had at least one class win and everyone had multiple heat wins.

A big thank you to those drivers that participated.

Kozo Raceway Park will be close for the next 2 weeks due to Dirt racing and The Glen trips for the Kozo Bros.

Twice is Nice

The next two weeks of racing will be hosted at KRP. At least one IROC race and one DK-spec GT race and a second IROC may be added based on interest and turnout.

Once again, racing on July 21st and 28th starts at 7:30 with doors opening at 6:30.

Construction..... Again

Kozo Raceway Park politely asks that all participants use the front door for racing Thursday, June 30th due to new sidewalks being poured in the morning.

The new IROC Scalextric Indy Dallaras

Once again, KRP is hosting a bring your 'troler night along with test and tune for the GT series. New IROC cars, Scalextric Indy, will be raced for the first time as well as either the Artin stockers or Carrera Vintage NASCARs. Doors open at 6:30 as usual and racing to start by 7:30.
