That the thunder was from Mother Nature rather then on the track! But, that didn't stop the die-hard competitors from coming to KRP. After some scoring glitches, due to power outages, we have finally determined the finishing order of the race. JJ completed 69 laps for 1st, Sam Sr. and Frank tied for 2nd at 67 laps. 3 heat wins a piece for JJ and Frank, 2 wins for Dave and Scott with one win each for Tim and Sam Sr.

KRP Inaugural race
For the first time, KRP hosted a series race. Thanks to all of the competitors that came out tonight.
Monagram NASCARs were a handful tonight as the first race at KRP. Frank lead the way with 3 heat wins and a total of 60 laps, the only driver to reach 21 laps in a heat. JJ also won 3 heats, Jonathan 2 wins, Sam Jr., Rich, Chip and Dean with one win.
NSRs were loose from practice through racing. JJ won 3 heats, though Scott bested him by about 70 feet for the overall win with 2 heats. Sam Jr. and Dean also won 2 heats, with Tim and Rich winning one each.

Now all we have to do is wait...
After what was seemingly a successful night of practice, there was a decision made to run not only one... but two fun run races. First up was the Ninco GT cars. JJ took the lead early and didn't look back with an impressive 41 laps total, Dean and Frank both proved they have good setups with 2nd and 3rd respectively at 39 laps. Middle of the pack, that's five drivers, came in at 38 with the least laps at 36 for only a 5 lap difference from the leader.
Next up was the SCX NASCAR race. Once again, Frank had something to prove, and lead the field to the checkers at 40 laps. A five-way tie happened for second place and JJ became the victor of that battle, with Scott, Tim, Dean and Sam Jr. all at 39 laps. The differential from last to first was only 6 laps this time, proving for the competitive nature of KRP.
